Job summary

A leading distribution and e-commerce organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and manage ERP utilization. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, along with 5–7 years of experience in a similar role.   • Hands-on experience with ODOO ERP or any ERP is highly preferred.

About the company:

Our client is a fast‑growing, innovative organization in distribution and e‑commerce, delivering seamless brand reach and efficient operations while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations & Reporting
  • Oversee daily accounting operations of all 4 legal entities (UAE & KSA).
  • Ensure timely month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing across the group.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue, COGS, inventory, and receivables.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Monitor financial performance versus budget, highlighting key variances.
  • Conduct profitability analysis by channel, entity, and product line.
  • Provide strategic insights to support pricing, margins, and working capital optimization.
3. ERP (ODOO) Oversight & Process Improvement
  • Act as the finance lead for ODOO ERP utilisation, improvements, and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate configuration, data integrity, and process flow within ERP modules (Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Procurement).
  • Drive automation and workflow efficiency within the finance function.
4. Cashflow & Working Capital Management
  • Monitor cashflow and manage daily liquidity needs.
  • Oversee receivables collection, credit control, and follow‑ups with customers.
  • Optimize payables, vendor payments, and banking relationships.
  • Support treasury operations including FX, inter‑company transfers, and cash pooling.
5. Compliance, Audit & Taxation
  • Ensure compliance with UAE and KSA statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, Zakat, etc.).
  • Coordinate with external auditors for timely completion of audits.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Support registration, reporting, and compliance for multi‑entity operations.
6. Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accountants in the team.
  • Allocate responsibilities and ensure high performance within the team.
  • Foster collaboration with sales, operations, logistics, and senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
