Job description

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading all financial operations of the company, ensuring sound financial planning, efficient processes, and compliance with regulations. This role involves overseeing budgeting, reporting, forecasting, auditing, and financial strategy to support decision-making and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Analyse financial performance and provide strategic insights to senior management
  • Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, audit standards, and financial regulations
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
  • Drive process improvements and implement financial controls
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare management reports for performance tracking
  • Support fundraising, investment analysis, and M&A activities if applicable
  • Contribute to business strategy and long-term planning



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
  • Professional qualification: CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent (strongly preferred)
  • 5 - 7 years in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of Project Management software (e.g. Asana)
  • Strong analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP)
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Zoho Books, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities
  • Excellent Communication Skills
