A leading IT service provider in the UAE seeks a Finance Department Officer to join a dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will handle budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal auditing. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills and communication in both Arabic and English are essential. Financial Planning & Analysis:
Assist in the preparation consolidation and review of the annual budget.
Develop financial forecasts and variance analyses to support strategic planning.
Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with government regulations internal policies and statutory requirements.
Accounting & Financial Operations:
Oversee general ledger entries account reconciliations and monitor cash flow operations.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support financial audits.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance financial efficiency.
Use advanced software and financial tools to streamline reporting activities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Liaise with various departments senior management and government bodies to deliver clear and relevant financial information.
Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives that reinforce the financial department s objectives.
Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field (Master s degree or professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus).
Professional Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance role preferably within a government or large corporate setting.
Experience working in a structured regulatory environment that values accountability and transparency.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical quantitative and data interpretation skills.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
