Job Summary
The Oil and Gas Factory Worker will perform various tasks to support the production, maintenance, and safety operations within an oil and gas factory environment. This role involves working with heavy machinery, assisting in the manufacturing of oil and gas products, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Support
- Operate and monitor factory machinery used in the extraction, refinement, or production of oil and gas.
- Assist in the manufacturing process of oil and gas products, including drilling, refining, and packaging.
- Ensure all machines are functioning properly and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Monitor the quality of the products being produced and ensure they meet the required standards.
- Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all safety regulations and policies, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed during the manufacturing process.
- Participate in safety drills, report hazards, and ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents or spills.
- Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of machinery and factory equipment.
- Report any machinery malfunctions or needs for repairs to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and operational data.
- Inventory and Material Handling
- Assist with the handling, storing, and transportation of raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure materials are used efficiently and report shortages to the inventory management team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanical, electrical, or industrial operations is a plus.
- Experience Previous experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or oil and gas environment is preferred.
