On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About the Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Executive Chef - Steakhouse by Alain Ducasse to join the resort’s Food & Beverage team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily kitchen operations with a commitment to excellence, ensuring every dish reflects artistry, precision, and the highest service standards.
  • Maximize the potential of premium ingredients and state‑of‑the‑art equipment to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant General Manager to craft innovative monthly and seasonal menus that celebrate creativity, seasonality, and global inspiration.
  • Design and manage the kitchen roster to support seamless service and a dynamic, motivated team.
  • Inspire and guide kitchen team through hands‑on leadership, fostering a culture of passion, professionalism, and continuous growth.
  • Stay attuned to culinary trends and guest preferences, proposing thoughtful updates to menus, pricing, and team structure to remain ahead of the curve.
  • Champion bold and imaginative ideas that enhance the kitchen’s identity and elevate the guest journey.
  • Build positive, respectful relationships across departments and with company leadership, contributing to a collaborative and uplifting work environment.
  • Actively participate in meetings, sharing insights and aligning kitchen goals with broader organizational objectives.
  • Promote team unity and multicultural understanding through open, inclusive communication and shared purpose.
About You
  • Extensive knowledge of diverse cooking styles and techniques, with a deep understanding of refined presentation standards.
  • Minimum of 10 years in a senior or supervisory role within 5‑star luxury hotels, Michelin‑starred restaurants, or high‑end dining establishments.
  • Diploma or degree from a recognized culinary school is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams while maintaining consistency, creativity, and excellence across all kitchen operations.
  • Strong sense of artistic expression and culinary innovation to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to evaluate quality, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
