About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director to join our team in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Strategically schedule meetings, appointments, and project-related tasks, prioritizing based on deadlines and importance.
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal and external communications related to the Managing Director.
  • Skillfully compose, review, and refine various forms of written communication including correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Organize and prepare materials essential for team meetings, presentations, and design reviews. Document meeting proceedings, track actionable items, and ensure completion of tasks.
  • Support project management by assisting with documentation, monitoring timelines, and facilitating team communication.
  • Build productive relationships with internal departments and external collaborators to achieve project milestones.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 5-8 years proven experience as an Executive Assistant, within a luxury hotel brand preferred.
  • Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Advanced)
  • Exposure to working with a multi-cultural team
  • Additional language is a big advantage
