Overview

The Role: As an Execution Trader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that trade execution processes are efficient, accurate, and seamless. Your core responsibility will be managing and automating the execution of orders across multiple asset classes, liaising directly with brokers to ensure timely and effective order fulfillment. You will leverage your strong coding skills—particularly in Python—to enhance and streamline trade workflows, working closely with portfolio managers and quantitative researchers. Your expertise will help reduce execution costs and improve overall trading efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Executing orders across a broad range of asset classes including equities, futures, FX, and fixed income
  • Automating trade execution processes and optimizing existing workflows using Python
  • Collaborating with brokers and counterparties to ensure smooth order routing and fulfillment
  • Monitoring real-time trade execution and resolving any issues promptly
  • Supporting development of internal tools and analytics related to trade execution and performance
Requirements
  • 5 to 8 years of execution trading experience within a systematic hedge fund or quantitative trading environment
