Job description

Dubai Equine Hospital is seeking an experienced board certified (ACVS/ECVS) Equine Surgeon to join our hospital in Dubai.

Dubai Equine hospital is situated in the heart of the equine industry in the UAE, with a caseload comprised predominately of racing thoroughbred and Arabian endurance horses. The hospital is well equipped with general, orthopedic theatres and a standing surgery suite. A full complement of surgical instruments is available to cover the caseload which comprises of elective surgeries typical of horses in training and a large emergency caseload of colics, fractures and ophthalmic surgeries.

You will join a team comprised of two full time surgeons (ACVS/ECVS) and an ACVIM diplomate. In addition, the hospital has a full-time orthopaedic clinician who covers elective lameness investigations, six interns and two anesthesia technicians.

Remuneration package offered commensurate with experience. The position is available for an immediate start. Initially a locum position can be considered with long term position available for the right candidate. Alternatively, a locum position can be considered with immediate start up to end of March 2026 to include Dubai World Cup Coverage.
