Job description : We are seeking a skilled and culturally aware English to Māori Translator to support our efforts in making content more accessible and representative of Aotearoa’s diverse communities. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately translating written and sometimes spoken content from English to Te Reo Māori, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural integrity.

Key Responsibilities :

Translate a variety of documents, including websites, marketing materials, reports, and educational content from English to Māori.

Ensure translations reflect cultural context and uphold the mana of Te Reo Māori.

Collaborate with internal teams to understand project goals and audience needs.

Proofread and edit translated materials for clarity, grammar, and consistency.

Work within deadlines and manage multiple projects when required.

Assist with the development of a Māori language glossary or style guide if needed.
