Job description

Structural Engineer

The Structural Engineer will work under the guidance of the Resident Engineer and the Project Manager. They will be responsible for leading a design team on various types of structures for major roadway projects. These projects include the design of new highways and the upgrading/rehabilitation of existing roads.

Job Duties

• Develop new procedures for QA/QC as applicable for inspection test plans.
• Follow up on inspection setups for installations and review inspector performance regularly.
• Update progress reports for all assigned work to the project manager.
• Review updated records to serve as built records.
• Check and coordinate all assigned services.
• Coordinate with the Head Office (Design) for material reviews and design queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• P.Eng certification preferred.
• RTA approval preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar projects.

Additional Comments

• Middle East experience preferred.
