Technical Sales – Electrical Engineer

Power & Innovation is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer (Electrical) to lead, manage and drive sales for the Electric department.

Overview

Role summary and expectations tailored to technical sales in electrical products such as Switchgears, Sensing Units, Controllers, Motors, Cables, etc.

Responsibilities

• Look for new clients who may be interested in firm services or products and optimize customer potential in assigned areas
• Visit customers and demonstrate that a product or service meets their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
• Compute client quotes and monitor them
• Quote and analyze expenses and sales figures
• Work out tenders with the firm’s policies and conditions to meet both client and company requirements
• Develop long-term relationships with customers by understanding and translating their needs
• Meet regular monthly sales targets and manage sales projects
• Attend exhibitions, seminars, events and other marketing and advertising activities as needed
• Liaise with other members of the sales team and senior management across divisions (Sales, Purchasing, Accounts, Marketing)

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Technical Sales experience (UAE) in electrical products
