We are expanding our footprint in high-growth markets and are seeking a pioneering professional to develop our end-user business across Africa and the Middle East from our strategic hub in Dubai.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial End-user Account Manager to drive direct end-user business development across Africa and the Middle East, with a primary focus on East African markets (e.g., Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria) and non-GCC Middle Eastern countries (e.g., Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan). This role is pivotal for building a new revenue stream by identifying, engaging, and closing deals directly with large enterprise accounts, government entities, and educational institutions. Based in our Dubai office, you will be the front line for launching and expanding ASUS's direct commercial business in these strategic growth territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development & Tender Management:
    • Identify, qualify, and prioritize target end-user accounts and public tenders within key verticals (Government, Education, Large Enterprise, NGOs) across the designated territory.
    • Develop accurate, competitive, and compelling quotations and proposals, ensuring all tender requirements are meticulously met.
    • Build a robust and qualified sales pipeline from the ground up through proactive outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • End-user Account Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
    • Conduct professional presentations and product demonstrations of the ASUS commercial portfolio tailored to client needs.
    • Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to negotiation and closing large-scale contracts.
  • Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:
    • Analyze large datasets, assess project feasibility, and estimate demand to make informed, data-driven decisions that support market entry strategies and pricing models.
    • Provide regular market intelligence and feedback to regional leadership on customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends.
  • Process & Administration:
    • Utilize CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and relevant IT procurement/tendering platforms to manage the opportunity pipeline, track client interactions, and ensure efficient process management.
    • Manage extensive tender documentation with excellent attention to detail and accuracy to avoid errors and ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in end-user / enterprise sales within the IT hardware industry (PC, laptop, server, or solutions).
  • Proven track record of successfully opening new markets, building a sales pipeline from scratch, and managing complex tender processes in Africa and/or the Middle East (non-GCC). Experience in East Africa is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience in hunting new business and closing large, complex deals with enterprise and public sector clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze large datasets, assess project feasibility, estimate demand, and make informed, data-driven decisions to develop accurate and competitive quotations.
  • Technical Proficiency: High familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce is a strong preference), IT procurement portals, and tendering platforms is essential for efficient process management.
  • Communication: Fluent verbal and written communication in English is mandatory. This is a client-facing role requiring constant professional interaction. Proficiency in Arabic and/or French is a significant advantage.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing extensive data, documentation, and complex tender requirements to avoid errors.
  • Time Management & Autonomy: The proven capacity to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a remote-management role; the candidate must be highly responsive and available regardless of business travel, with no excuse for delayed communication.
  • Hunter Mentality: A self-driven, proactive approach to sales with superb negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to build rapport with diverse clients across different regions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to partial) within the region.
  • Must have valid residency.
