Job summary

A semi-government entity is looking for an Employee Relations Officer (Emirati) in Dubai. This position serves as the primary contact for employee concerns and involves supporting HR policy implementation, conducting investigations, and managing employee engagement. Ideal for fresh graduates, this role offers a salary of 18 - 20K AED. Strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of UAE labour laws, and a degree in HR are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduates or 0 - 1 year of experience.
  • HR degree preferred; if not, some exposure or background in HR/ERW.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.

  • Conduct investigations on employee complaints and ensure confidentiality.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and prepare documentation.

Position: Employee Relations Officer (Emirati)

Location: Dubai based and full-time on-site position

Working Hours and Time: Mon till Fri (8am till 5pm)

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with UAE labour laws and company regulations.
  • Conduct investigations on employee complaints, misconduct, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fairness and confidentiality.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts between employees and management through mediation and problem-solving.
  • Prepare reports, case documentation, and recommendations for disciplinary actions when required.
  • Support performance management processes, including PIP (Performance Improvement Plans) and corrective actions.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives and support programs that enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and exit processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and HR systems to ensure accurate and updated employee data.
  • Provide guidance to managers and staff regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
