About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty Driver to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Heavy Duty Driver, you will play a crucial role in safely transporting workers, materials, and equipment to and from work sites while adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws.

• Safely operate and maneuver heavy‑duty vehicles to transport workers, materials, and equipment to various job sites
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal condition and safety
• Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations, including the use of seat belts and observing speed limits
• Assist in overseeing job site clean‑up and ensuring all safety protocols are followed
• Participate in regular safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Navigate through various routes using maps, GPS systems, and local knowledge
• Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and colleagues

What do we need from you

• Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a heavy‑duty driver, preferably in the construction or related industries
• In-depth knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations, particularly in Dubai and the UAE
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and ability to perform basic repairs
• Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with GPS systems and map reading
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
• Outstanding time management and organisational skills
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Patience, quick thinking, and good judgment in high‑pressure situations
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts and occasional overtime as needed
• Basic computer skills for logging activities and communicating electronically
