Job summary

A leading design firm in Abu Dhabi seeks a Document Coordinator to support project submittals, coordinate communications, and manage documentation. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction. Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience preferably in architectural, engineering, or construction industries.
  • Ability to operate calculator, computer, and general office equipment.

  • Assist and monitor contractors' submittals such as shop drawings.
  • Handle flow of information regarding requests for substitutions.
  • Support team with photocopying and electronic communication.
  • Coordinate printing of project specifications and manuals.

Responsibilities

The Document Coordinator assists and monitors / reports on the various following tasks:

  • Appropriate action regarding Contractors submittals such as Shop Drawings Product Data and Samples Requests for Information etc.
  • Flow of information regarding requests for substitutions.
  • Reproductions plots photocopying supporting the Team.
  • Incoming and outgoing flow of electronic communications dealing with project submittals sharing information with Clients and Consultants.
  • Coordination of printing of project specifications and other manuals.
Qualifications
  • One to three years of experience preferably in architectural engineering or construction industries.
  • Ability to operate calculator computer and general office equipment.
