Job Description: As a Development Manager at WZC, you will oversee zoological projects, build client relationships, ensure project compliance with animal welfare standards, and collaborate with various departments to maintain high standards of animal care and facility operations.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Promoting the mission of WZC and participating in project design, development, and operations.
  2. Conducting site inspections and ensuring project adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  3. Managing client relationships and providing excellent customer service.
  4. Developing SOPs and protocols aligned with EAZA, AZA, and WAZA guidelines, emphasizing animal welfare.
  5. Monitoring animal health, assisting in facility development, and staff training.
  6. Collaborating with veterinary and marketing teams to ensure animal health and promote the organization.
