Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 would be advantageous.
• Previous kitchen experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines.
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy.
• Prepare all mis-en-place for relevant menus.
• Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries.
• Ensure food stuffs are of good quality and stored correctly.
• Contribute to controlling costs and improving gross profit margins.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary.
• Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues.
• Comply with hotel security and food safety legislation.
• Strive to achieve departmental targets as part of the team.
• Be environmentally aware.
