We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Demand, Supply Planning & Inventory Controller to join our dynamic team in the Supply Chain & Logistics industry. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal management of inventory levels, forecasting demand accurately, and maintaining a seamless supply chain operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and inventory control, along with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. As a Demand, Supply Planning & Inventory Controller, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  1. Demand Planning & Forecasting – Lead the weekly/monthly demand cycle, refine forecasts, and validate data inputs to improve forecast accuracy.
  2. Supply Planning & Inventory Management – Optimize stock levels, manage open purchase orders and backorders with suppliers, logistics teams, and distributors.
  3. Data Analysis & Reporting – Track demand plan performance, measure forecast accuracy and generate reports using MS Excel & ERP systems as relevant.
  4. Collaboration with Stakeholders – Work closely with other teams to incorporate product launches, deactivations, and conversions into the demand plan while challenging assumptions when needed.
  5. Exception Management & Root Cause Analysis – Identify deviations in demand-supply planning and recommend corrective actions.
  6. Process & Efficiency Improvements – Enhance SOP processes, introduce KPIs, and streamline inventory management. Conduct regular audits of inventory and supply chain processes to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  7. Supplier & Logistics Coordination – Manage interactions between suppliers, freight forwarders, and distribution hubs across the operating regions to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  8. ERP Systems - Utilize ERP systems to track inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and ensure accurate reporting.
  9. Management Reporting - Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and market trends.
Skills

Experience: 3-4 years in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Inventory Control (preferably in FMCG, distribution, or logistics).

Education Qualifications: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Industry Preference: FMCG or a similar high-volume transaction environment in the UAE.

Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze large sets of data to forecast demand accurately and make informed decisions about inventory management.

ERP Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning systems is essential for tracking inventory levels, managing orders, and generating reports.

Excel Skills: Proficiency in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced data analysis.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for collaborating with various departments and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Skills: The capacity to identify issues within the supply chain and develop effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
