Job summary

A logistics service provider in Dubai is seeking a candidate to manage shipments and forecasts while ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include coordinating monthly forecasts, managing order processes, and preparing reports. Job description

This position is responsible for execution of shipments of monthly/yearly planned forecast of Can-Stock and providing a high level of customer satisfaction and services through a close working relation with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensuring the shipment and delivery of sales target as per annual plans.
  • Monthly forecast management coordination and support alignment with internal stakeholders. Follow up with customers for POs to support the forecast.
  • Conduct order management (order input, production/inventory control) and analysis of demand, supply, inventory etc. Liaise with technical teams and regional production teams to ensure correct process routings etc.
  • Handling export documentation, which includes LC documentation. Communicating documents to the customer and banks ( if required)
  • Weekly delivery and shipping schedule update to customers
  • Act as a first responder to customers’ needs to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Preparation of monthly reports to customers & MIS reports for management.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and above in international business.
  • Fundamental knowledge of International trading terms and LC documentation
  • Team player and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Attention to details & a team player . Should be a quick learner and able to manage time effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with various stakeholders. Good command of English in both written and spoken form
  • Proficient in MS Office programs. Basic knowledge of ERP working.
  • Positive mindset and ability to work with Commercial and Technical stakeholders across various levels at customer locations and internally within Novelis. Problem solving approach needed to resolve issues.
