We are seeking a Curriculum Designer / Head of Curriculum Design to architect the end-to-end learning journey across different learning tracks and career guidance journeys for students aged 14-18.
This is a strategic role responsible for ensuring coherence, progression, assessment logic, and learner experience across: General skills, Foundational learning, Simulations, Projects.
You will work closely with instructional designers, content vendors, AI teams, and platform teams to ensure the curriculum is learner-centric and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Architecture & Strategy
- Design and own the curriculum framework across different pathways
- Define progression logic from exploration → application → insight
- Ensure alignment between freemium and premium learning layers
- Design entry, exit, and pivot pathways for students
Learning Progression & Assessment
- Define non-exam-based assessment models focused on insight and readiness
- Ensure appropriate cognitive load for students learning in parallel with school
- Design milestone-based learning outcomes and completion rules
Content Governance & Quality
- Translate curriculum vision into design standards and templates
- Review and approve instructional design outputs from internal teams and vendors
- Ensure consistency of pedagogy, tone, and learner experience
Collaboration & Integration
- Work with AI teams to define curriculum data signals for personalization
- Collaborate with LMS teams on sequencing and learning logic
- Support partner content integration (MOOCs, certifications, test prep)
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of experience in curriculum design, learning architecture, or education strategy
- Proven experience designing multi-course or pathway-based programs
- Strong understanding of learning science, progression, and assessment
- Experience working with digital or blended learning environments
- Ability to think at both strategic and practical execution levels
Preferred Experience
- Experience in K-12, higher education, or career-readiness programs
- Experience with non-traditional assessments (projects, simulations, reflection)
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning ecosystems
- Experience working with content vendors or agencies
- Experience in the UAE or regional education context (preferred but not required)
