Role Overview:
As Creative Director, you will own the creative vision, quality, and direction of YAZ Media’s output across all channels. This is a leadership role, not a hands position. You will: Set the creative bar Shape ideas from strategy to execution Lead mentor, and challenge creative teams Partner closely with leadership, strategy, and clients You are responsible for how the work looks, feels, and performs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Creative Direction & Quality Control Own creative direction across social, digital campaigns, content, video, and branding
- Ensure all work meets agreed creative standards and brand guidelines Review and approve concepts, layouts, scripts, storyboards, and final outputs
- Maintain consistency across multi-platform executions Concept Development & Campaigns Lead ideation for key campaigns, content strategies, and new business pitches Translate briefs into strong, culturally relevant creative ideas
- Guide teams from concept through execution and delivery Balance creative ambition with platform, budget, and timeline realities
- Lead and manage designers, copywriters, strategists, and content teams Provide clear direction, feedback, and creative guidance Support team growth, skill development, and performance.
- Work closely with producers and project managers to manage workloads Client Collaboration Present ideas and creative rationales to clients confidently Participate in client meetings, creative workshops, and pitch presentations .
- Align creative output with client objectives and KPIs Handle feedback constructively while protecting creative quality Cross-Department Collaboration Work closely with Strategy, Accounts, Production, and Web teams
- Ensure creative ideas are executable and aligned with technical and production constraints Support integrated campaigns across multiple touchpoints
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience 8+ years experience in creative agencies (digital, social, or integrated) Previous experience as a Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, or Senior Art Director
- Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign thinking, content, and digital execution Skills & Strengths Strong conceptual thinking and visual direction Solid understanding of social platforms, content formats, and digital best practices.
- Ability to lead both static and motion-based creative Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Regional & Cultural Fit Experience working with Middle East / GCC clients Understanding of Arabic culture and regional audiences
- Arabic language is a strong plus Personal Traits Organized, decisive, and able to work under pressure.
- Collaborative and solution-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment
