Position: Crane Operator
Location: Umm-al-Qaiwain
Salary: 900 AED

We are seeking a Crane Operator to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and related machinery to hoist, move, and place materials, equipment, or other heavy objects.

The ideal candidate must have a valid crane operator’s license and experience operating cranes in the industrial or construction industry. They should also possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also be able to work well independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating cranes for loading, unloading, and moving of materials
• Ensuring that safety rules are followed at all times when operating crane machinery
• Setting up crane operations by selecting cables, chains, or ropes; adjusting tension; and positioning boom
• Monitoring load capacities, widths of loads, and distances traveled during operation
• Maintaining crane logbook with daily maintenance checklists and recording any issues that arise during operation
