Job description

The Country Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the overall business operations driving revenue growth ensuring operational efficiency and building strong client relationships in the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in logistics supply chain management business development and UAE market regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth market expansion and profitability in the UAE.
• Identify new business opportunities partnerships and market trends in the logistics sector.
• Lead and manage the P&L (Profit & Loss) responsibility ensuring financial targets are met.
• Expand the companys presence in the UAE by acquiring new clients and enhancing customer relationships.
• Oversee daytoday logistics operations including warehousing transportation and freight management.
• Ensure operational efficiency by implementing best practices and process improvements.
• Manage fleet operations route optimization and costeffective logistics planning.
• Work closely with vendors suppliers and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead mentor and manage crossfunctional teams including operations sales customer service and finance.
• Develop and implement employee training programs to enhance team performance.
• Foster a strong work culture that encourages teamwork innovation and high performance.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE logistics regulations customs laws and transport policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with government bodies customs authorities and industry regulators.
• Implement and monitor health safety and quality standards within the organization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers suppliers and business partners.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing efficient and reliable logistics solutions.
• Act as the companys representative in industry events forums and trade shows.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 8 years of experience in logistics freight forwarding supply chain or transport management with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the UAE logistics industry regulations and market dynamics.
• Proven experience in P&L management business development and revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to drive operational efficiency.
