Job summary

A prominent banking institution in Dubai is seeking a Corporate Teller to deliver quality service through accurate transaction processing. Responsibilities include performing teller counter services, liaising for optimal transfer rates, and assisting customers efficiently. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform all teller counter service transactions accurately.
  • Liaise with Treasury for best rates on centralized telegraphic transfers.
  • Serve Private Banking customers and process related transactions.
  • Identify and refer product inquiries to Sales staff.
  • Act as a custodian for branch vault cash & security stationery.
  • Cash reconciliation & balancing, end-of-day balancing.
  • Ensure understanding of all centralized activities as per procedures.

Role and Location

Corporate Teller – Dubai

Role Purpose

Delivering quality teller service to customers via accurate and efficient processing while projecting ADIB's professional image in all interpersonal dealings.

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform all teller counter service transactions such as cash deposits, cash withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers, payment orders, standing orders, foreign currency purchase & sales, and cheque deposits in line with operational policies & procedures.
  • When centralized telegraphic transfers are involved, liaise with Treasury to obtain best rates for VIP & high‑net‑worth customers in coordination with HOPs.
  • Serve Private Banking customers at separate counters and process any other counter service transaction introduced by ADIB from time to time.
  • Sell or identify and refer product inquiries from prospective customers to Sales staff.
  • Act as one of dual custodians for branch vault cash & security stationery; assist HOP as the second custodian for dual control.
  • Cash reconciliation & balancing, end‑of‑day balancing, general filing.
  • Ensure proper understanding and processing for all centralized activities as per Branch Operations Centralization Projects.
