Overview

Black & Grey HR is hiring for a renowned University in the UAE. Our client is hiring for a Content and Communication Specialist who will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive communication and fundraising strategies that support institutional advancement goals. Reporting directly to the Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, this role demands a strategic thinker with outstanding communication skills and a strong background in integrated communications.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a cohesive multichannel communication strategy to engage donors and alumni.
  • Ensure consistent positive representation of the institution to external stakeholders across all communication channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the strategic communication team to ensure alignment and amplify key messages.
  • Actively participate in multimedia and livestreaming events related to fundraising and donor engagement.
  • Coordinate with leadership, academic departments and development teams to align communication strategies with fundraising goals.
  • Conduct market research to support donor engagement and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze communication trends and provide recommendations to improve donor targeting and segmentation.
  • Assist in preparing customized fundraising proposals and campaign materials.
  • Support the Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategic communications, ideally within an educational or nonprofit environment.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English with exceptional written communication skills in both languages.
