Job summary

A global engineering firm is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent Mechanical with extensive experience in Onshore site management for MEGA EPC projects based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have at least 17 years of relevant experience in commissioning and operation readiness, including a minimum of 5 years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors. Responsibilities include reviewing manuals, verifying mechanical completion, and participating in troubleshooting. Qualifications

• Participate in commissioning and troubleshooting meetings.
• Verify system readiness for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve punch list closures.

KBR is looking for a Commissioning Superintendent Mechanical (U&O) - Piping & Rotary with Onshore Site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.

Experience required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.

Having a minimum of Fifteen (17) years of relevant experience in the commissioning/operation readiness position with experience in GCC region as preference.

Must have at least (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas, Hydrogen production, Hydro-desulfurization projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
• Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
