Job summary
A leading construction firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced professional to manage the commercial office within the Middle East & Africa (MEA). The role involves supporting and developing operational standards and practices, ensuring timely month-end closing, and enhancing logistics processes. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and excellent communication skills. This full-time position does not support remote work.
Qualifications
- Min. 5 years experience in commercial office and/or material logistics.
- Knowledge of freight and customs in Middle East & Africa.
- Excellent English skills required.

Overview
- Responsible for commercial office (CMO) in Middle East & Africa (MEA)
- Support inform and develop the MEA countries in all aspects of CMO
- Implement and maintain new groupwide standards and processes
- Improve existing processes together with countries and share best practices
- Ensure and maintain reporting transparency in the area of CMO
- Support and ensure monthend closing in countries is done on time
- Coordinate and execute CMO trainings for MEA countries including regular qualification assessment for each country
- Support global project Modern software / Efficient processes and ensure MEA requirements are embedded into the new software solution
- Act as link and MEA voice between Order management Doka Group CMO DG and MEA countries
- Support execution of daily Operations tasks (e.g. delivery documents invoicing) for small countries with limited local resources
- Act as Operations contact person for Export sales team and handle their requirements (e.g. availability checking intercompany release and price information)
- Coordinate and drive the execution of shipments to MEA export countries together with Order management Doka Group
- Ensure utilization of statistical declarations for cross border business
Qualifications
- Min. 5 years experience in commercial office and/or material logistics (preferably in formwork/construction and in Middle East & Africa)
- Degree in Business Supply Chain or Operations related studies is an advantage
- Knowledge of freight and customs environment in Middle East & Africa
- Excellent communication intercultural and problemsolving skills
