Civil Engineer job in Sharjah UAE

Job Title: Civil Engineer
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Salary: 1500 AED per month

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical data to plan projects.
• Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures in line with industry standards.
• Perform or assist with surveying operations to establish reference points, grades and elevations to guide construction activities.
• Oversee construction of projects such as buildings, roads and bridges to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
• Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, or material stress factors to determine design specifications.
• Estimate quantities of materials required for specific jobs.
• Provide technical advice regarding design or construction of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required (preferably from a reputable university).
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.
