Job summary

A leading digital asset financial services firm in Dubai is seeking a CISO to build and lead its security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 5 years in leadership roles. Responsibilities include providing board-level risk reporting and managing compliance with standards such as ISO 27001. Strong backgrounds in cloud security and DevOps are essential.

Overview

Our client, a leading digital asset financial services firm based in Dubai that works with corporates, family offices and high-net-worth investors across the MENA region, is seeking a CISO to build and lead its security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the security infrastructure and program for the firm.
• Provide board-level reporting on risk and security posture, translating risk into business impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 5+ years leading security teams.
• Strong DevOps background and hands-on cloud security knowledge.
• Deep experience with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, GitHub/GitLab, Vault/KMS/HSMs, SSO/IdP, and secrets rotation.
• Demonstrated ownership of ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 from gap assessment to certification; PCI exposure is a plus.
• Crypto/payments exposure, including key management, wallet security, payment orchestration risks, and fraud detection signals.
• Familiarity with GCC regulatory landscape (CBB, VARA/ADGM/DFSA high level) and global privacy regimes.
• Clear communicator with board reporting experience, able to translate risk into business impact.
