Overview

Chef de Partie We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team specializing in Asian cuisine. As CDP you will manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g. wok dim sum sushi grill noodles) and ensure high standards of preparation presentation and consistency across all dishes.

Responsibilities
  • Actively share ideas opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
  • Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
  • Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
  • Oversee food preparation and production for your assigned section
  • Ensure proper mise en place and maintain freshness and quality of all ingredients.
  • Prepare dishes following traditional and modern Asian recipes with authenticity and flair.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to plan menus and specials.
  • Train and supervise junior staff and commis chefs in your station.
  • Ensure compliance with health hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications
  • Should have at least 2 years experience as CDP for Ala Carte Restaurants
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment with high volume of guests
  • Should have expertise in Asian cuisine
  • Should have culinary education background and culinary qualifications
  • Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
  • Strong background in Asian cuisine e.g. Chinese Japanese Thai Korean or Southeast Asian.
  • Excellent knife skills and familiarity with traditional Asian cooking techniques (e.g. wok cooking sushi rolling steaming fermentation).
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highvolume environment.
  • Team player with leadership potential and good communication skills.
