Job summary

A leading aircraft maintenance company is seeking a Cabin Mechanic in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for maintaining aircraft interiors, including seats and galleys, ensuring all tasks comply with relevant standards. Candidates should have an Aircraft Maintenance Technology Degree and at least 3 years of experience with wide-body commercial aircraft. Strong communication skills and a deep understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary education with relevant experience or an Aircraft Maintenance Degree.
• Minimum 3 years experience with wide body commercial aircraft.
• Knowledge of Networking Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and rectification of cabin defects.
• Conduct transit, daily, and weekly cabin checks.
• Ensure all documentation is completed and certified.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title : Cabin Mechanic

Reports To : Cabin Maintenance Manager

1. JOB PURPOSE

To undertake cabin related maintenance tasks as directed by the Cabin Maintenance Team Leader. Tasks will include the identification of aircraft cabin defects, maintenance and rectification. Discrepancies found should be rectified within the scope of theirCabin Mechanic approval.

2. JOBACCOUNTABILITIES

1 Maintain and overall Seat, Galley, Toilets, Lights, Carpets and all other aircraft interior items, maintenance, cleaning and repair.

2 Reporting, performance and certification of maintenance work.

3 Ensure all documentation is completely and correctly filled out and certified.

4 Undertake transit, daily and Weekly cabin checks as directed byOPMC.

5 Ensure all work is carried out in accordance using the approved tooling and personal protective equipment (PPE).

6 Ensure all work is carried out within the scope of approval and in accordance with theAMM,CMMandSRMas applicable.

7 Understand scope of approval and ensure approvals are valid and current.

8 Undertake any additional cabin maintenance task give to him / her by his supervision.

3. QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE (Indicate the minimum recruitment specifications for fully satisfactory job performance)

• Secondary education with relevant experience OR
• Aircraft Maintenance Technology Degree / Certificate or Equivalent required.
• Experience servicing Aircraft electronics to component level preferred.
• FAA / EASArepair certificate a plus.
• Knowledge of Networking System a plus.

Experience :

Minimum 3 yearS experience

Must be locally available in the UAE

Experience with wide body commercial aircrafts

Training & Knowledge :

Good written and verbal communication skills Must have taken and passed an LHT Cabin experts course
