Job summary

A leading retail company in Dubai is seeking an Inventory Controller to manage inventory accuracy and efficiency through an ERP system. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in retail management and the fashion industry. Responsibilities include pricing control, inventory management, and coordination with the procurement team. Salary ranges from AED 6,000 to AED 8,000 depending on experience and skills.

Job description

Qualifications & Requirements:-

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, ideally complemented by a qualification in Retail Management, Inventory Management, Purchase/Sales, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including advanced Excel, good Word, and PowerPoint.
• Preferably experienced with Microsoft Business Central and LS Retail systems.
• Good understanding of and hands‑on experience in the fashion industry.
• Exceptional planning, financial analysis, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.

Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate receiving and efficient management of all inventories through ERP system.

Responsible for pricing, promotions, stock control processes, minimizes discrepancies, and supports smooth supply chain operations by maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Coordinating with procurement, and back of the house team, and utilizing ERP systems to maintain data integrity and improve inventory performance.

Key Accountabilities

Includes, but not limited to the following:

• Maintain the return all faulty merchandise to the supplier, and ensure the department receives a credit.
• Enter the orders into the system and ensure minimum discrepancies.
• Creating Item master, purchase Price, Cost Price & Landed cost pricing.
• Pay regular checks to resolve any shipment discrepancies and immediately inform the business head for any variance/damage to have corrective action.
• In conjunction with the Buyer to control the selection of merchandise for the Sales within the agreed markdown and to reach the agreed stock level.
• Assist sales staff and management with customer service by providing information on stock availability and ERP system reports.
• Manage the ERP system requirements and daily tasks required.
• Inventory management, cycle counts and stock count to me managed on weekly, monthly and yearly basis as required.

Salary Bracket – AED 6000 to AED 8000 – Depends on the skills and experience.
