Job Overview
The Business Operations Specialist is accountable for supporting the effective execution of business initiatives, operational improvements, and cross-functional projects across MBPC. The job ensures that initiatives are delivered efficiently, data-driven insights are applied, and day-to-day activities run smoothly. The job is also accountable for serving as a key link between central and support teams and promoting best practices as well as enabling continuous improvement through process redesign and re-engineering as required.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Operations Support
- Support the end-to-end delivery of business initiatives across Sales, Aftersales, and other units in alignment with organizational strategy.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and review cycles to monitor operational project progress and track risks.
- Assist managers with resolving operational challenges through data analysis, research, and structured follow-up.
- Coordinate activities across departments and utilize organizational tools e.g., JIRA to monitor tasks, milestones and performance metrics and to ensure risks/issues are escalated early.
- Prepare dashboards, KPI summaries, and status reports for the Business Operations Manager and senior leadership to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of Business Operations.
- Ensure all documentation complies with governance standards and is audit ready.
Operational Change Execution
- Support adoption of process and project-related changes, ensuring smooth stakeholder transitions.
- Support execution of change strategies and communication related to process improvements, system enhancements, and new ways of working.
- Track change readiness and adoption metrics and highlight areas requiring additional support or intervention.
- Contribute to communication plans, training materials, and stakeholder engagement activities to enable smooth adoption of change.
Process Design, Re-engineering and Optimization
- Facilitate process-mapping and optimization workshops using tools such as BPMN, Visio, and Miro.
- Design, document, and refine end-to-end business processes to improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
- Maintain process governance frameworks, documentation standards, and compliance readiness across business operations.
- Conduct periodic process reviews and embed best practices in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Promote digital adoption, automation, and data-driven decision-making to improve visibility and operational efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a central coordination point across business units, IT, Finance, HR, Operations, and dealerships.
- Identify interdependencies and proactively flag potential conflicts between workstreams.
- Promote structured problem-solving, accountability, and data-driven thinking across departments.
- Uphold organizational values and demonstrate sound judgment in daily interactions.
- Track readiness, adoption, and feedback metrics to support successful rollout of new processes/systems.
- Provide coordination and follow-up on change-related activities to ensure smooth transition for teams.
Operational Governance & Reporting
- Maintain templates, methodologies, and best practices for project and operations governance.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to enhancing the organization’s operational and project delivery frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with governance, quality, and reporting standards.
- Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
- Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.
Position Requirements
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in operational efficiency, coordination, process optimization, or operations excellence.
- Lean Six Sigma or equivalent Business Process Management certification is required.
- Hands‑on experience supporting business operations projects.
- Experience in the UAE automotive industry or a complex multi‑entity environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in cross‑functional operations initiatives, governance, and process excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
