A global leader in e-commerce is seeking a Business Development Manager in Dubai, U.A.E. This role involves driving the development and account management of the Delivery Service Partner business. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of DSP recruitment and strategy development. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in business development, fluency in Arabic, and a Bachelor's degree. This position requires collaboration with various internal teams to innovate and improve delivery programs across the AMET region.

Amazon is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Africa Middle East Turkey (AMET) Delivery Service Partner business. This is a unique opportunity to own the development and account management of our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) business based in Dubai U.A.E and to collaborate with various internal teams to create innovate and transform our processes to launch new delivery programs across the AMET region creating opportunities for our DSPs. This role will require some travel throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • End to end ownership of UAE DSP recruitment and vetting of Delivery Service Partners
  • Develop a strategy deliver results across core deliverables
  • Launch programs in partnership with internal stakeholders and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables
  • Develop a keen understanding of Amazon methods working with the Partner Acquisition Business Development Team to launch Last Mile Delivery programs across the AMET region
  • Build collaborative influential internal and external relationships with Product Program Field teams and other critical stakeholders to gather information set action plans and monitor stakeholder to improve the program executions
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand program needs launch timelines and challenges to develop processes and deliver against the team roadmap for the launch of Delivery Partners in AMET
  • 5 years of developing program strategies and plans diving and influencing senior stakeholders experience
  • 5 years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience
  • 5 years of working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams experience
  • 5 years of working with external suppliers experience
  • 5 years working in Business development or sale roles with prior experience negotiating deals.
Required Experience
  • 5 years of developing program strategies and plans diving and influencing senior stakeholders experience
  • 5 years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Speak write and read fluently in Arabic
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)
  • 5 years of working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams experience
  • 5 years of working with external suppliers experience
  • 5 years working in Business development or sale roles with prior experience negotiating deals.
