The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the freight forwarding and logistics sector. This role will focus on expanding the company’s client base, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth through new business opportunities. Position Description
Client Acquisition : Identify and target new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored logistics solutions.
Sales Strategy : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth targets and enhance market presence.
Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
Proposal Development : Prepare and present customized proposals, negotiations, and pricing structures for potential clients.
Performance Tracking : Monitor and report on sales performance, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Industry Networking : Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote services and expand the client base.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry, with an existing customer base or proven ability to generate business within UAE market and an ability to maintain frequent monthly & quarterly sales, including all sectors of Freight Forwarding Air, Sea & Land.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
