As the Bar Manager at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr you will lead the bar operations . You will be responsible for curating exceptional guest experiences managing a high-performing team and overseeing all aspects of the barfrom beverage innovation and service standards to cost control and team development. Your creativity attention to detail and leadership will elevate the bar to be one of the most sought-after destinations in Abu Dhabi.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day bar operations ensuring exceptional guest service and adherence to brand standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all health safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Implement effective inventory ordering and stock rotation systems.
  • Recruit train and supervise bartenders and bar support staff.
  • Design and implement creative cocktail and beverage menus in alignment with current trends and guest preferences.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to pair drinks with food menus.
  • Host mixology events and themed promotions to drive revenue and guest engagement.
  • Create a welcoming and engaging bar atmosphere for both hotel guests and local clientele.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally ensuring swift resolution and consistent improvement.
  • Personalize service based on guest profiles and preferences.
  • Achieve beverage revenue and cost control targets.
  • Monitor sales performance prepare monthly reports and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage vendor relationships for quality and pricing.

  • Minimum 3-5years experience of similar capacity in the hospitality industry.
  • Extensive beverage and cocktail bar service operations knowledge
  • In-depth working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • In-depth working knowledge of beverage cost control procedures
  • Able to lead and motivate the team.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Possess good leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment with a keen eye for quality control.
