Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles of various makes and models. This role requires hands‑on experience with mechanical systems a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes brake service tire rotations and engine tune‑ups

• Repair or replace worn parts and fix issues related to transmission suspension steering and cooling systems

• Use tools and diagnostic equipment to test systems and ensure proper operation

• Provide accurate estimates and timelines for repair work

• Maintain service records and complete job cards as required

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines in the workshop

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks

• Stay up‑to‑date with new technology and service techniques

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic (minimum 25 years preferred)

• Technical diploma ITI or relevant mechanical training certification

• In‑depth knowledge of mechanical electrical and hydraulic vehicle systems

• Ability to handle diagnostic tools and garage equipment

• Physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy parts and perform under physically demanding conditions

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Valid drivers license

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on diesel engines and commercial vehicles

• Knowledge of electronic control systems and vehicle diagnostics

• Previous experience in a multi‑brand or high‑volume service centre
