Authority/ Stakeholder Engineer

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage relationship with project stakeholders and liaise with relevant agencies, authorities, and the client to obtain necessary approvals and NOCs.
  • Attend progress and coordination meetings and support the NOC process, following up on outstanding tasks.
  • Monitor progress of drawings and documentation for NOC applications and approvals.
  • Track project progress ensuring all activities are completed on time in terms of NOC process and approvals.
  • Monitor project schedules to determine any delays or deviations related to NOC progress.
  • Coordinate and collect information from agencies, third‑party consultants, and contractors for technical queries and issues, preparing weekly and monthly reports, and design drawings for management and clients.
  • Be aware of authorities’ standards and requirements; experience in Sharjah is a must.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a construction‑related field.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in a stakeholder/NOC coordination position.
  • Knowledge and experience in dealing with the approval process for infrastructure and building projects with statutory authorities in the Emirate of Dubai.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Good time‑management ability and competence in prioritizing tasks and workload.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office software; ability to use Auto‑CAD is preferable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including external stakeholders.
  • UAE driver’s license.
