Overview
Quality Manager: The Quality Manager is a key member of the group responsible for the design and application of the Quality Monitoring System. The function of the QM is to define Quality Specifications for all systems and ensure conformance, while promoting quality excellence and performance improvement across the company.
Responsibilities
- Defining plans and techniques for Quality Management that are reported to Top Management.
- Defining competencies for Quality Division staff.
- Overseeing the quality performance of all activities within the corporate workplace and on site.
- Deciding on Quality staff recruitment based on required proficiencies.
- Promoting the professional development of personnel in the field of Quality.
- Authorizing quality-related processes for the business, including manual processes and IT ERP.
- Setting requirements for quality, health, and safety.
- Creating and implementing all tasks relating to Quality.
- Recommending to Top Management the resources spending plans (assets including personnel) for the Department.
- Training Quality employees in process areas including internal auditors (including HSE).
- Accepting all records relating to Quality and the outcomes of the Quality Group.
- Executing all applicable requirements in LIN SCAN.
- Deciding on non-conformities in the automobile.
- Shaping and authorizing the effectiveness of actions taken against non-conformities.
- Identifying new quality concepts and applying the best ones.
- Assessing the performance of the Process, Product, and Quality staff.
- Monitoring the performance of internal auditors.
- Certifying the company’s Internal Auditors of Systems.
- Conducting all kinds of quality audits within LIN SCAN.
- Approving all Quality Plans.
- Carrying out other tasks as requested by the Executive Team within the assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a managerial setting, and experience in a medium-size international organization (between 200 and 500 people).
- Experience in QM in companies with non-standard production/assembly lines requiring high adaptability to meet customer needs.
- Background in Design - Mechanical or Electronic devices, QM certificates.
- Some international direct exposure.
