Overview

Lead audits, manage client portfolios, resolve technical issues, and oversee timely project delivery. Requires 10–14 years of experience, professional certification CPA, ACCA, CA. Strong leadership and communication skills. Bilingual (Arabic/English) and experience with digital audit tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively assist in managing a client portfolio, where you will be responsible for daily client communication and handling technical matters.
• Carry out business development activities to help identify and research opportunities with new/current clients, as well as build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to developing both your own and your team’s technical skills.
• Assist in managing and delivering large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to key deadlines.
• Design the audit strategy and manage its execution in line with the engagement leader’s directions. You will advise clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments, as well as stay updated with regulatory changes through internal and external seminars.
• Manage client relationships with senior management, including presenting to the board of directors and audit committees.
• Ensure compliance with risk management, quality standards, and independence of thought.
• Stay updated on local and national business and economic matters.
• Train, guide, and develop your team members, while taking care of their well-being.
• Encourage participation in digital initiatives and the use of audit transformation technologies, along with alternative delivery models, to align with our firm’s vision and ensure more robust audits.
• Participate in the recruitment process to conduct interviews and select the most qualified candidates in accordance with hiring standards.

Qualifications

• A university degree in accounting, finance, or another relevant academic discipline.
• At least 10-14 years of experience in external financial audit.
• Completion of recognized professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA.
• Experience working with diverse industries is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English, (spoken and written) is an added advantage.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing audits from planning to completion.
• Confidence in challenging yourself and others to deliver high-quality testing and documentation.
• Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships at all levels—both internally and externally.
