What is the role?

We are looking for a world-class Product Director to lead a team of engineers, designers, analysts, researchers, and marketeers to innovate and continuously reinvent our consumer product. The person will be working with our Head of product across multiple squads with the focus to improve category discoverability, increasing engagement on the platform and driving critical projects.

  • Lead a cross-functional agile team of engineers, product design, and application support to deliver a world-class customer experience.
  • Customer Focus: Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to define product requirements, features, and end products. Champion a data-driven approach to customer experience, leveraging qualitative and quantitative research. Understand customers deeply through interviewing, surveying, and user testing.
  • Product Development & Strategy: Partner with growth, engineering, creative, and design teams to bring product visions to life. Lead a cross-functional agile team to deliver a world-class customer experience. Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products aimed at improving the full customer lifecycle (acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, reengagement). Identify trends and challenges within the customer journey and develop relevant product solutions. Drive product development with world-class engineers and designers.
  • Data & Analytics: Define user-facing commerce experiences, platforms, and services KPIs and ensure proper instrumentation. Make business decisions and prioritize based on data and impact on key metrics. Conduct data analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities. Optimize growth funnels through data analysis and user research. Develop a system and operating model to assess the success of developed products.
  • Infrastructure & Research: Set up the infrastructure for usability studies, research, and market analysis to inform product requirements that enhance the user experience.
Who will excel?

To be successful in this role, you need to have a strong product management background with a deep customer obsession, critical eye for UIUX and an analytical approach to prioritization & measurement. You should be comfortable with uncertainty, work well with multiple stakeholders, and manage competing priorities in an entrepreneurial environment.

Must-haves
  • 7-10 years in a similar function at a fast paced environment, preferably a startup. Experience working on a Product Growth team is a plus
  • A self-directed personality and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by influencing teams internally and externally
  • Tech-savvy with a desire to get your hands dirty across Marketing, Creative, Design, and any technical discussion. You’re eager to set up your analytics dashboard, tweak the frontend, and think through technical complexity.
