Job description

Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure timely and accurate management reporting. Monitor variance analysis. Support consolidation of group accounts and management dashboards.
• Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial postings within the ERP system. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all accounting records.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements. Liaise with external auditors during audits and support internal audit requirements. Strengthen internal financial controls and risk management practices.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Perform financial analysis to support management in decision-making. Provide insights on cost optimization, profitability, and cash flow management.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise and mentor junior finance staff. Collaborate with other departments (HR, Operations, Sales) to ensure financial alignment with business needs. Act as second-in-command to the Finance Manager, stepping in during absence when required.

Qualifications

• A professional certification (CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA) is required.
• Applicants must possess a minimum of 6-10 years of progressive finance experience, which includes at least 2 years in a management position.
• Essential: Demonstrated hands-on expertise with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and compliance with UAE tax regulations (VAT / Corporate Tax) is necessary.
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling is essential.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership abilities are required.
• Must have the capability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
