Job Description
  • Manages BIM implementation on small-to medium-size projects.
  • Practice-line and Digital / BIM team training.
  • Responsible the setting up of the project Common Data Environment subjected to the project size, and do the orientation for the project teams.
  • Authoring of project BIM & GIS execution plans, project reports and any other BIM-related project documentation required.
  • Attending the Client's BIM Kick off meeting and addressing the client's requirements.
  • Working with project delivery team members to resolve technical model problems and ensure their understanding of project, office and / or client BIM standards.
  • Performs model QA / QC checks on projects.
  • Contributes to the development of processes, procedures, templates, and model content.
  • Creation and maintenance of the federated model with its related clash sets assuring it is aligned with the client requirements and project's scope.
  • Chair design coordination and clash detection sessions.
  • Preparing Project Template models.
  • Ensure teams are working on CDE according to AECOM BIM Standards.
  • Supporting the BIM Manager in the creation of the TQR review process on the CDE. and responsible of the maintenanceof the TQR workflows during the lifecycle of the project.
  • Keeping up to date with the industry BIM technology and workflows.
Qualifications
  • Generally has between 10 + years of experience of which 5 should be in BIM coordination
  • Degree in relevant engineering e.g. Civil, structural or other relevant BSc Degree. BIM accreditation / certificate recommended. Familiarity of ISO 19650 and BS n PAS 1192
