Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Naval Architect to provide essential calculations and interact with various departments during offshore project phases. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Naval Architecture and have at least 3 years of experience in the field. Proficiency in naval architecture software and good command of English are essential for success in this role. This position offers a dynamic environment with responsibilities related to load out, stability, and mooring analyses.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Naval Architectural design.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Conversant with MWS and Classification Society guidelines, codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide calculations for load out, transportation and lifting of structures.
  • Interact with NPCC Fabrication Yard to resolve related issues.
  • Conduct mooring analyses of lifting vessels during installation.
