Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of asphalt laying projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with other departments and contractors
• Lead a team of workers, providing guidance and direction to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required specifications
• Monitor and inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards
• Operate equipment and machinery as needed to assist with asphalt laying
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution
• Train and mentor new team members as needed
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment and tools
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt laying, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of asphalt laying techniques, equipment, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
• Knowledge of Arabic language is preferred but not required
