Job summary

A construction consultancy firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced architectural professional to conduct inspections and ensure compliance with project standards. The role involves managing snagging activities, coordinating with structural and MEP disciplines, and staying updated on UAE building codes. Ideal candidates will have a degree in architecture and relevant UAE experience in mixed-use developments, alongside skills in QA/QC processes. The position offers possibilities for part-time, flexible, and hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in architecture or architectural engineering.
  • Relevant UAE experience with PMC or supervision consultancy.
  • Strong mixed-use development background with understanding of D&B and FIDIC Yellow Book.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of architectural works to ensure compliance.
  • Verify materials against approved material inspection requests (MIRs).
  • Process non-conformance reports (NCRs) and site observation reports (SORs).
  • Manage snagging and de-snagging activities for project quality.
  • Update knowledge of UAE building codes and authority requirements.
  • Ensure proper coordination of architectural works with other disciplines.
  • Identify and report deviations from approved drawings and specifications.
  • Manage inspection schedules and maintain QA/QC documentation.
