Job summary

An educational institution in the UAE is seeking an Arabic Speaking Speech & Language Therapist for its School Inclusion Department. The successful candidate will prevent, identify, and treat communication challenges affecting student participation. Job Title

Arabic Speaking Speech & Language Therapist – School Program

Location

UAE – School / Inclusion Department

Role Purpose

Prevent, identify, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges that affect learning, social interaction and classroom participation. Provide Arabic-focused speech and language therapy and collaborate with teachers and parents to support inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen students and conduct comprehensive assessments for speech sound production, language, fluency, voice and social communication.
  • Design and deliver individualized and group therapy programs linked to classroom and IEP goals.
  • Provide therapy in push-in, pull-out and co-teaching models with class teachers.
  • Coach teachers and LSAs on strategies to support language and communication in the classroom.
  • Counsel and train parents on home practice and generalization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports for school and (where relevant) insurance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's / Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology / Communication Disorders.
  • 3+ years pediatric / school‑based SLP experience.
  • DHA/DOH/MOHAP license or eligibility preferred.
  • Experience with autism spectrum, developmental language disorders, stuttering and learning difficulties is an advantage.
