About the Role

The Analyst – Asset Management will support the Corporate Director in overseeing and driving the performance of Aldar Hospitality’s portfolio of third party managed and self-operated hotels and leisure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend Business Review Meetings (BRMs) and keep concise and accurate minutes of all meetings.
  • Ensure distribution to wider audience.
  • Develop and maintain OTA Ranking Tracker for assets.
  • Prepare and keep updated Operator Search Brand Glossary.
  • Prepare Pitch Decks for Operator selections.
  • Ensure HMA Cheat sheet updates.
  • Prepare reporting for budgets, CAPEX & FF&E Letters for all assets.
  • Review, benchmark and analyze hotel and portfolio-level financial data and keep informed of the dynamics of each market area to develop a strong understanding of the hotels and their respective markets.
  • Review, understand and ensure compliance of management agreements and loan documents.
  • Where appropriate, identify, analyze and implement opportunities for increased revenues and expense savings.
  • Assist the Corporate Director of Asset Management with reviewing operating budgets, capital budgets and other plans.
  • Track the performance of hospitality assets under management and flag any potential issues.
  • Keep informed of hotel industry trends and how such trends may impact the Company’s portfolio of third party managed hotels and leisure assets.
  • Assist with Board, ExCo and other reports as requested and where applicable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Asset / Investment analysis or related roles
  • Proven track record in delivering results
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Foundational knowledge of hotel operations a plus.
  • Team player, organized, and strong communication skills.
