STS Aviation Services is hiring Aircraft Interior Painters / Preppers in Dubai, UAE. If you have experience in aircraft painting and finishing, and you’re ready to take your career to new heights in the United Arab Emirates, this is the role for you.

Overview

As an Aircraft Interior Painter / Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing aircraft interiors to the highest quality and safety standards. Reporting to the Paint Workshop Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring interiors meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure all materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation are prepared at the start of the shift
• Perform paint preparation work to the highest standards
• Interpret and apply the latest revision drawings, ensuring proper masking procedures
• Apply epoxy and filler primers as required
• Apply basecoats and topcoats in accordance with work instruction sheets
• Perform paint thickness measurements (wet/dry), adhesion checks, and record results
• Work in compliance with company, health and safety, and airport regulations
• Maintain a Foreign Object Debris (FOD)-free workspace, ensuring the area is clean before and after tasks
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers
• Stay updated on new Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and related technical information
• Participate in relevant training programs to develop skills and effectiveness
• Complete all tasks safely and in compliance with company procedures and quality standards
• Follow the Safety & Quality Management Plan (SQMP) and actively support workplace safety initiatives
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean, serviceable, and safe condition

Skills and Experience

• Strong background in auto body repair and painting or similar training
• Experience with fiberglass and composite fill and finishing techniques
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in aircraft painting and finishing
• Proven experience with both aircraft interior and exterior paint applications
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of verbal instructions and basic English language skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to manage daily workload independently with minimal supervision
• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
