Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable bank reconciliations and expense reports

• Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures

• Maintain and update general ledger and subledgers

• Prepare journal entries and ensure all entries are properly recorded

• Support audit activities and provide required documentation

• Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records and reports

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial data

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or senior staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field

• 13 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships count)

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle)

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA candidate or plans to pursue CPA certification

• Experience in a corporate or midsized company environment

• Familiarity with tax filings and compliance processes
